I had a change of scale recently and built an old ESCI kit in 1/72...
I used to build a lot of 1/72 kits but then 'got into' 1/48 and I just don't build as much 72'd as I used to.
ESCI were one of my favourite kit brands as a child as they always seemed to have cool stuff. I built a lot of the 1/72 Armour kits and a few Aircraft.
I found a bagged ESCI F100D at a local model show for a few Dollars.
This kit is still being released by Italeri who have 'inherited' a lot of the ESCI mould tools.
Its built OOB but I added some different decals to represent 'Triple Zilch' as the kit decals were old.
The replacements are from XtraDecal..
I painted the model in differing shades of Alclad and also used Gunze Super metallic paints.
Thanks for looking...

F100's always had heat staining on the rear fuselage panels I did this using a combination of Tamiya clear enamel colours (amber and blue) and Alclads Jet Exhaust..
I enjoyed the build as I really enjoy Natural Metal finishes on Aircraft....
